Born in Tacna, Peru in 1971, Lucre is part of a young generation of painters that graduated from the Escuela de Arte Francisco Lazo in Tacna, and emigrated to emigrated to the capital, Lima, in search of fame and fortune. After graduating from the Escuela F. Lazo Lucre joined the Escuela Nacional de Bellas Artes and studied there for another 4 years to obtain the title of painter.
