PBS Spotlight: The premier art gallery in Milwaukee showcases a European master.

On view now at the David Barnett Gallery, "New Acquisitions: The Work of Marc Chagall." The exhibition features lithographs by the famed French/Russian artist. Chagall was a master of color and this show illustrates that greatly. Some of the work features reds that make you feel the heat of the beach in summer or greens that are as vibrant as a lush forest. "He achieved colors that no other artist could," says David Barnett, owner of the David Barnett Gallery. David has admired Chagall since he was a child. An homage to Marc Chagall, painted by David himself, hangs on the north wall of the main exhibition room. The exhibition runs now thru January 13th 2026.
