Maria Esther M. Colombier

Maria Esther Colombier states that she is a product of the challenging years of the latter part of the past century in South America. She claims that her national identity has been “broken,” and that only the arts will be able to recover what’s been lost. Born in Lima, Peru in 1971, Maria Esther studied painting and drawing at the prestigious Escuela Nacional de Bellas Artes, from whence she graduated with honors in 1997. Her more than twenty shows to date speak to her overall status as a “successful artist.” Maria has exhibited in such famous halls as La Casa de Osambela, and the Museo de la Nacion, as well as many other fine art galleries both in her native Peru and beyond. Paintings by Maria Esther Colombier are collected by the most selective buyers of art in Peru, the U.S.A and Europe.
