Forty-four color lithographs of paintings by surrealist Rene Magritte will be on display at the David Barnett Gallery, marking the first exhibition of the works of Magritte in Wisconsin. The limited-edition lithographs were produced in partnership with the artist’s estate. Each printing plate was hand-drawn, and some prints have over 20 colors to achieve the desired effect. The plates were destroyed after printing was complete.
