The David Barnett Gallery is equipped with a team of dedicated restoration and conservation specialists. With over 58 years of experience, when you entrust us with your artwork, you can expect the highest quality treatment results. We have experience restoring a wide variety of objects. Past projects include oil paintings, pastels, gouache, etchings, lithographs, vintage posters, works on paper, textiles, rugs, flags, needlepoints, porcelain miniatures, glass sculptures, stone sculptures, bronze sculptures, and antique frames.
If you have an artwork that needs attention, call or email the gallery to set up a restoration appointment. During the appointment, we will inspect your object, photograph it, and make detailed notes of its condition. With input from restoration experts, we determine the best course of treatment and propose a treatment plan. Once we send you the proposal, you can choose to approve or decline the treatment. We do not begin any restoration work without first receiving your approval and payment in full.
The fee for a treatment estimate is $125. If you choose to proceed with treatment, we deduct the $125 fee from the final total.
