Community is invited to cast one vote for abstract art submission finalists. Must vote in person at the gallery.
This vote is for our community abstract art contest in support of our current exhibitions, Abstract Visions. The winner will earn a spot for their work at the gallery and an offer to consign their piece with us.
Winners announced April 11th 5-7pm at Night at the Gallery.

During the vote we will be holding a donation drive for Sojourner Family Peace Center. Accepting donations of shampoo, conditioner, Black hair care products, deodorant, diapers, pads & tampons, kids and adults clothing, and markers and art supplies.

The David Barnett Gallery Presents Masterstrokes: Three Centuries of Drawing. Throughout history, drawing has been regarded as the foundation for artistic practice and the very basis for the visual arts. drawing can be a kind of chameleon, morphing from linear to painterly. This exhibition will examine the exploratory nature of drawing- its emphasis on observation. problem-solving, and composition- and how it shows the artist's hand in a range of styles from realistic to abstract. Drawing, a crucial part of artistic tradition, has become a tool for aesthetic thought and investigation and a vital medium in its own right.
